Brandon British Club: Membership

MEMBERSHIP QUALIFICATION Membership in the Club is available to anyone of British or Commonwealth heritage or with an interest in British culture.

APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP All applicants for membership must complete an application form provided by the Club and submit the application to the Club, along with a payment for that year’s membership dues. The membership year runs from April 1st to the following March 31st inclusive. Members joining between January 1st and March 31st of a given year will have their membership extended automatically without further payment of dues to March 31st of the following year.

MEMBERSHIP CLASSIFICATION There will be an individual membership of $25 to be reviewed annually. There will also be a non-membership event fee of $5 (to be reviewed annually) to be applied to the Club’s larger events. Children under the age of 10 are free when accompanied by an adult.

MISSION STATEMENT

The Brandon British Club membership welcomes and includes people of British and Commonwealth heritage, their partners and others interested in British culture, in Brandon and the surrounding areas. The Club exists to foster the British expatriate community, in the spirit of friendship and mutual support.

Its goals are:

(a) to provide a social setting to assist newcomers in settling in the community and American life,
(b) to help provide networking and support to British-owned businesses in the community,
(c) to foster a community spirit through supporting local charitable organizations.
